These Terms of Service govern your use of the Oruloop app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
What Oruloop is
Oruloop is a social challenge and accountability app for small, private groups ("loops") — family, friends, or colleagues. You create challenges, put something at stake with people you already know, and check in together.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an Oruloop account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app.
Your account
You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. Each account is for one person — don't share your sign-in access with someone else or create an account on behalf of someone who hasn't agreed to these terms themselves.
Your content
You keep ownership of the loops, challenges, lists, and other content you create. By posting content, you give Oruloop permission to store and display it to the people you've shared it with (your loop-mates or challenge co-participants) — that's it, just what's needed to run the app.
Don't post anything illegal, harassing, or abusive. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
Stakes are informal — Oruloop is not a payment service
Challenges can involve a "stake" — a treat, a task, or another informal commitment between the people in the challenge. This is entirely honor-system: Oruloop does not process payments, hold funds, or verify that a stake was actually settled.
Any arrangement about a stake is strictly between the people who agreed to it. Oruloop is not a party to that arrangement, doesn't mediate disputes about it, and isn't responsible if someone doesn't follow through. Use good judgment about what you agree to stake, and with whom.
Account deletion and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the app, or pose a risk to other users.
No warranty, limited liability
Oruloop is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the app reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oruloop and its developers aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including anything related to a stake arrangement between users, per the section above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do — significant changes will be communicated in-app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
